The transformer oil temperature above 95 degrees is prone to aging, so the surface temperature of the core should be kept below this temperature as much as possible. This requires the core's heat dissipation structure to quickly dissipate the core's heat. The heat dissipation structure is mainly to increase the heat dissipation surface of the core. The heat dissipation of the core mainly includes oil channel heat dissipation and air channel heat dissipation of the core.

In large capacity oil immersed transformers, oil channels are often set between the laminations of the core to enhance the heat dissipation effect.
