Product Maintenance:

1.Before being put into normal service, the 480 volt 3 phase 400 amp fused disconnect switch must be mounted in a vertical position and the cover plate should be removed.

2.To ensure proper short circuit breaking capacity and current limiting performance, the 480 volt 3 phase 400 amp fused disconnect switch must be fitted with fuses of the correct rating.

3.When replacing a fuse link, the load circuit must first be disconnected and the disconnect switch cover opened or removed. The fuse can then be released by gently pressing the spring clip beneath the retaining plate. A new fuse is installed by sliding it down along the guide slot into place.

4.Although the arc chamber can be inserted or withdrawn easily from the upper socket, unnecessary removal should be avoided. During installation, it should be handled carefully and inserted slowly until it is fully seated.

5.To keep the contacts of the 480 volt 3 phase 400 amp fused disconnect switch in good condition, regular inspection and cleaning of dust, oil, or other deposits is required. In addition, lubrication should be applied periodically to the moving parts of the operating mechanism to maintain smooth operation and extend service life.
